Super 8 by Wyndham Dubuque

This place is an absolute cesspool. Let's start with the management or lack thereof. The manager was a lying, spiteful butt. I booked a handicap room. I phoned them no less than 3 times to confirm it would be a handicap room with ground floor access. I was assured it would be. In fact, on the 3rd call he hung up on me one time when I phoned. We arrive to find out there are NO handicap rooms and stairs are required for both floors. My lady was unable to shower and required assistance with the bathroom facilities. The room smelled of a wet dog. Mold/mildew all around the cracked plastic tub, toilet, and sink. Disgusting. The transition, threshold, between the room and hall was lifted up creating a trip hazard and exposing the carpet tack strip, which if you are not familiar, are sharp little nails. And yes, she stumbled on this more than I care to discuss. Continental breakfast was a joke. Apples that were likely months old, a waffle maker, cereal, and outdated milk. I could go on to talk about the non-existent amenities like the singular, broken, vending machine that took my money with NO return. When reported to the manager I was, and I quote, "Not our machine, not our problem. Contact the vending company." After several inquiries I finally got my $2 back. Frivolous, yes, but by that time I was making a point about the absolute joke the manager was. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS ABOMINATION AND THEIR RUDE AND UNDESIRABLE SWILL.

Very convenient, great staff, and had a enjoyable stay. Will stay again in the near future.

Very easy check n and out. Staff is very helpful and always available. Rooms are spacious and well equipped with TV, mini fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Everything was spotless in the rooms and general areas. Very reasonably priced.

Nothing

I was traveling alone booked room got to hotel no room I was charged for room so I alone at 2:30a.m. had to drive around Dubuque to find a place to stay unacceptable. Booking.com confirmed my room charged me no room is booking.com a big scam. Very upset and should be.

Clean room

Night staff needs customer service training. On-site laundry facility was a storage room. Nothing works.

Speedy check in, clean room and nice staff. Shares the parking lot with a restaurant but pretty quiet. No complaints.

Clean room . Comfortable beds. Staff was great

No elevator. So we had lump our bags up to the 3rd floor. Breakfast was disappointing. I hadn’t expected much, and got exactly what I expected. Couldn’t beat the price though. We were looking for a cheap getaway. So that was the biggest plus here.

Breakfast was horrible- rooms were old ran down- bathtub made me not want to use it. Toilet barely flushed
