Very homely and welcoming. Excellent food - good menu choice. Restaurant very comfortable. Ideal location for M180 motorway. Rooms adequately spacious.

Accommodation - Rooms are tired - some mattresses / beds require replacement. Bathrooms / Showers are very dated, water pressure to showers is extremely low. TV - Old Sky Boxes - terribly dated.

Room was functional if a little dated. Bathroom was clean with a good shower. Pub is very friendly, evening meal was good and the breakfast was great. Thank you

Rm 11 is adjacent to the door at the top of the stairs and the door closer is very effective and bangs at all times.

The staff in the pub were very friendly and the food was exceptional very big portions and piping hot.

The rooms were very dirty. The shower had not been cleaned in months it was full of scale and grime around the base and shower head,the windows were full of dust and could barely see through them, carpets were filthy. Beds very uncomfortable and pillows as flat as cardboard. We were upstairs but from door with access to bedrooms would not close. Nobody around to check out in the morning so just left keys.

Everywhere was very dirty nobody around to check out to complain to regarding how clean the facilities were.
