Good value accommodation for a solo traveler right by the station. Room was modern and comfortable. The breakfast options were good. And they were able to stash my bicycle in a secure room overnight.

The location was good for our needs, to attend a funeral in the village.

The rooms and facilities were very tired and not at all clean. There were numerous tiles on the ceiling which were discoloured (brown), due to water leaking into the room from the room above. The decoration certainly needed attention, with paintwork peeling off the walls. One of the panels in the Door leading to the outside (Which didn't work), was so warped and loose, that it let daylight through. There were Ant Traps (Pesticide Boxes), all over the room, which would be dangerous if you had a Child or Pet staying in the room and were also unsightly and off-putting. All in all; I would NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone, and would DEFINITELY NOT STAY here again!

Need updating inside and lights replacing and a lick of paint but for the cost was great.

We had a guy who was smoking weed outside until 2am (he was staying in room 14) and when he left at 7am he tried to enter all of the other rooms on our floor. Was woken up at just after 6am by brewery delivery (we live around the corner to a pub and never experienced deliveries that early) Room was very small and very dated. Security was none existent once the pub was closed and would not recommend this hotel to any female solo traveller I’ve stayed in hostels with better security than this hotel.
