Point Pleasant Resort

Amazing views but hillside tough for older people. Staff and shuttle were fabulous.

The view was great from our unit. It was self contained with a kitchen with good equipment. Three pools on site…one close to our unit. The two restaurants on site were far away…shuttle available. The facility is quite far from Red Hook Bay where all the activities are located. Expensive taxi fare is always readily available for those without a rental car.

We got a room for 3 ppl … it was advertised as 1 bedroom but in reality it was a studio since there was no closed separate bedroom space The room was supposed to have a foldout couch for my daughter to sleep on On arrival there were no sheets or towels for the 3rd person … it took several calls and a few hours to get those delivered There was no body soap in the bathroom… the listing is advertised as a hotel yet there were no regular hotel amenities… like room cleaning There was a kitchen with dishes but no dish soap … The biggest issue was the fold out couch which was broken …. The next day they brought us a fold out mattress which deflated in the middle of the night. Insured my daughter had no normal sleeping accommodations The property gave us a $50 gift card to a restaurant on the property as an apology… in reality, I should’ve probably been given at least one night free or the room should have been discounted by 1/3

Staff were very helpful, rooms were neat and equipped with all things needed for a comfortable stay, resort had nice dining options as well.

What a wonderful stay we had ! Our unit was a HUGE upgrade from a regular hotel room. Spacious, gorgeous view from a wrap around deck. Comfortable furniture and well appointed. The 3 pools were never crowded and the staff was very kind. It should be noted that they offer shuttles to your unit as the stairs that wind around the property and could be problematic for anyone with a disability. Personally I liked the exercise!!! The two restaurants offered good variety, the more casual Sea Bar & Grill was a WIN, good food and a bartender with just the right amount of sass. The fine dining choice was terrific too, don’t miss the Chocolate Brûlée! All in all we had a magnificent time and felt the price we paid was WELL worth it. Thank you Point Pleasant for kicking our year off in such a beautiful way.

The food at both restaurants was good.

Our unit E12 needs an update. The bathroom wall was dirty, and there was no fixture on the bathroom ceiling light. Sofa was uncomfortable. The unit was a dark, long, and narrow unit. Ac used a timer, so it went off during the night 👎 No beach to speak of.

The property is difficult to walk but the shuttle will take you up and down. The staff is amazing. Willie, Shawn and everyone else was super helpful and kind. The Sun & Sea grill and bar has terrific food and the bartenders are very entertaining. Our trip was fantastic!

The rooms are extremely large with a beautiful balcony view. Staff was excellent & friendly. The only downside are the amount of steps , built on a mountain that’s understandable. We enjoyed our stay , thank you

Point Pleasant Resort was the ideal vacation spot for my wife and I. Highly recommend for too many reasons to list. We will definitely be coming back for years to come.

Extremely spacious condo, adequate kitchen supplies. Comfortable bed. On site restaurants and 3 pools, easy access to Island attractions. Must have a car. Safe. Great view. Need to be aware there are many stairs and very steep hills

Was not impressed with the food or service at the Sun and Sea bar and grill. Did not eat at the higher end restaurant. Everything else was very nice.
