Skyline Island Colony Hotel

The receptionist was amazing she assisted my stressed and jet lagged student daughter with kindness and patience. I will fully recommend your hotel for family ,friends and any company events. Wonderful rooms and facilities. Thank you jetlagged student daughter

The people here are very accomodating!

Location is perfect but the hotel is old and needs renovation. The beds are done good. The carpet is old and dirty. Bathroom got molds and mildew every where. Toilet bowl got molds. I need to buy toilet bowl cleaner, chlorox wipes to clean it so we can use the bathroom. The front desk needs customer service trainings...I told them the bathroom is dirty and told us since our stay is short we can't ask for a cleaner ...we just checked in Oh well, i just cleaned our room and deal with it since we are there for a bit.

Good stay close to the main walking street Kūhiō , and beach. But a bit out dated rooms are a bit run down but for the price it’s ok.

We had an absolutely wonderful time! Everyone was so friendly! Our room was upgraded to a king suite due to a booking error. Our views were the best, we could see the canal and the ocean from our lanai. With Diamond Head being the focal point. Absolutely perfect! When we visit again, we're coming back!

The property was perfect.

We stayed at the Hotel last August 17-20, 2025. I booked at Expedia.ca 2beds with ocean view. When we check in, the room that was given to us was not ocean view, so i went to the reception and told about it. She offered to move us to different room since we haven't unpacked our stuff yet. But when we check the new room there's ants and cockroach flying everywhere. We did not move anymore. Its a budget hotel so what can we expect. One thing i liked staying here was that its close to everything.

You can tell its an old property and not recently renovated. It was on the less-expensive side, cheaper than Ala Moana which is why we went with Skyline. The hallways had somewhat of a musty/old smell but the room was OK smelling. As long as the rates are reasonable, I'd stay here again.

For the money, I don't expect much more than we got. Could be cleaner, could be updated/renovated, but then it would be more expensive. A more powerful A/C unit would have been good. We ran it 24/7 and couldn't get it cooler than around 65 which was fine but around 62 would have been better.
