"Great location for a holiday."

7.0

Location was excellent only 5 minutes from town. Always a space to park in street. Very quiet.lots of things to do. Good choice of food and drink outlets.lots of lovely walks. Also home of Dad's Army Museum (well worth a visit)

Couldn't sit on sofa as it looked very unsafe and worn. Heating was locked and needed password. WiFi shown on TV was incorrect and only found when looked at welcome book it was on a scrap piece of paper. Needs refreshing ie lick of paint. Cigarette bin in back garden needed to be emptied (we are non smokers)

Charming property. Slight hiccup over lack of towels swiftly resolved. Many of the previous reviews mention the stairs, yes they are steep, but quite easy to get used to, though not suitable for if you have impaired mobility (there's is a sofa bed too).

"Tolerable"

Location was great for Rebellion way cyclists and bikes can be put in the courtyard at the rear of the property, however there is no cover from the elements.

There was only enough hot water for 1 person to have a shower, this was rectified by contacting the host who turned on the Hive water heater. There was no heating which was a bit inconsiderate when you factor in the weather we had. The fold out sofa bed is broken so we had to lay the cushions and mattress on the floor. There was no sugar provide for drinks. The blind above the kitchen door is broken and hanging off. There are only 2 comfy seats for watching tv, there are 4 hard chairs around the table which have to be used instead.

A beautiful immaculate place to stay

Not a question of not liking, and the owner makes it very clear that there is a steep staircase to upper bedroom. Just not for immobile or inebriated 😁

"Could be better"

7.0

Everything was clean and tidy. Large size TV.

The stairs to the top are very steep and uncomfortable. The pull-out chair downstairs is in bad condition, the mattress is too thin, the metal frame pierces through, it's good that we only stayed one night, the children couldn't sleep normally.

"Clean, tidy and self contained property. Ideally situated for the town."

N/A for Breakfast. Location great for the town centre. Unfortunately i was only there for one night to attend a funeral. I will however bear this location in mind if i should be in the area again.

Nothing i can think of. Met the requirement for everything i needed for an overnight stay. Unfortunately i wasn't there long enough to sample all the facilities.

Great location, perfect communication and support from owner in all questions.

Broken bed, smoking smell ( open window doesn't help to avoid this)
