Castle at Moloka'i Shores

The condo was in a great location to get around the island. The grounds and pool were well taken care of. The breeze kept the room cool so we didn't miss the a/c. However, the bedroom did not have curtains. The windows were frosty so you couldn't see in, but at night the lights shined in bright. At night and in the morning the roosters crowed to each other. Also, we had a few roaches we had to kill by spraying the unit.

Good location

Very dated, stuck in early 80s. Dirty upholstered chairs. Clean, but discolored towels with permanent black stains. Incorrect wifi instructions. Hidden additional check-in charges from association . Very unfriendly on-base office staff.

It was sufficiently clean but everything was dated. Caulking in the shower and kitchen were starting to separate. Coffee maker, hair dryer, bedroom closet door did not work. Refrigerator was very clean and nice. The location close to Kaunakakai and various eating and shopping spots is great. The grounds and proximity to the beach are also very nice.

Nice location on the beach and close to town. Quiet except for New Year's Eve. Nice pool, shuffleboard, putting green.

Unit needs upgrade. Showing its age. No reading lights in the bedroom. Dead mice in trap in front of refrigerator. Windows broken in bedroom.

The grounds were amazing and the view was also.

Lack of A/C and not knowing the town was mostly closed on The day we arrived - Sunday.

I arrived at night and didn’t realize there wasn’t a front desk. My phone had no signal, so I couldn’t make a call. A guy who lived there was outside and let me borrow his phone, so I was then able to call and get instructions. There was apparently a key box, and they gave me the code. However, I couldn’t figure out how to open the key box, so I went back to that same guy, and, between the two of us, we figured it out. It was very frustrating getting inside, but once I did, I really liked the accommodations. It also took me a few days to acclimate with no air conditioning, as the place was hot for a couple of days getting aired out. Very pretty place though and a great location!

Everything was amazing I think my favorite part would have to be the view though.

Our condo was recently upgraded and very clean

We had a wonderful stay at Molokai Shores Resort. The weather in July was so pleasant; the ocean breeze through the open windows felt good. Sounds of the birds, wind blowing through the palms and children in the pool, was so pleasant and relaxing. Even the wild chickens were well behaved! There was a full kitchen supplied with cooking utensils, which we used. The grounds of the resort had friendly neighbors and helpful staff. The place is less than one mile from family-owned grocery stores, food wagons and eating places. Thank you!
