"It was very disappointing. Not receiving the room requested. Upcharged $940.20 for each room."

When we arrived the hotel told us that Booking.com told them there was only going to be one person in each room. We were charged $940.20 additional for the second person in each room although my reservation stated the reservation was for four people. The hotel agent Athena Jimenez was rude. We had also booked one-bedroom suites which were no longer available. The property either sold the building that the one-bedroom suites were in or converted them to some other layout. On the third day they offered us a minor supposed upgrade which was the same size room with a water walk out and a minor food upgrade (we were "all inclusive" already). The property was not well maintained and operations were not done in a professional manner. If Booking.com notified the hotel that in fact there were supposed to be four occupants then the hotel ripped us off. If Booking.com did not notify then of the four occupants then Booking.com is at least partially negligent and responsible.

Most of the staff were very hospitable and friendly and did a good job with what they had to work with. Most of the food in the buffet was not appealing to us. In the separate restaurants you could find food that was acceptable. There were four of us so each of us tried to order different item off the menu to see what we felt was acceptable so that we could focus on the what might be the better items on the menu. This of course meant that one or more of us might not get what we felt was decent food. It was however "all-inclusive" so if we received something that we did not like we would then order based on what was received by another of us. The property was not well maintained. Walls everywhere needed to be painted. Railings and locks were rusty. Two adults in each room yet they only put one regular and one decaffeinated coffee pod in the room. No washcloth unless you requested it. They had the bath gel, hand soap, and skin lotion in pump bottles, which many place have now but they were not properly filled. The supposedly had hair shampoo and hair conditioner in the same bottle which seem ridiculous. The pool chairs (wooden) all either need to be replaced or refinished. Etc,etc, etc. I have many photos to confirm my comments

Our stay at Krystal Grand Cabo was incredible. The resort is beautiful, spotless, and well maintained. Our swim-out suite was always clean, water replenished, and the pools sparkling. Gabriel, the concierge, was amazing, quick, kind, and helpful with every request. The staff also arranged a cab into town that waited for us and brought us safely back. At the restaurants, Sara, Lila, and Karen were welcoming and ensured my gluten allergy was carefully managed. Victor and Angel went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Manuel at the adult pool was fast, efficient, and remembered every order, handling my gluten-free requests with care. He is an extremely hard worker. Valerie, the manager, was warm, professional, and made us feel truly valued. The biggest shoutout goes to Rodolfo, our dinner waiter. His knowledge of gluten-free food was exceptional, and he made every meal safe and enjoyable. He was kind, professional, and attentive, making our trip unforgettable. Improvements would be better Wi-Fi in the rooms, continued investment in food quality, and labeling buffet/menu items for gluten-free, dairy-free, or nut-free options. Staff is very friendly, they are always happy to help. Cocktails at the bar are tasty and alcohol is prime brands. The food is good, a lot of variety for a few days. Adults only pool is quiet and the bar there is perfect!

The hotel will benefit from a few renovations. Other than that, really good
