Ballygally Castle

Everything was perfect. The view, the staff, the garden, all exceptional! The room was large and clean. Breathtaking view of the land to the west from our room windows. Everything we needed was right in the room. The gal at the front desk was so helpful when we asked about driving to Belfast. She gave us much needed reassurance that we could do it and we did. Would definitely stay here again. Hopefully soon!!!

Couldnt complain

From the moment we arrived it was perfect, reception was clean and very welcoming, the receptionist was very helpful and polite. We had arrived at lunch so we had a very tasty lite snack the staff were friendly and welcoming nothing was to much trouble. All staff in all areas were cheerful and always saying hello it was lovely. Our room was lovely and clean and the decor was lovely there was also tea/coffee making area. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board was in the room. Our dinner had been booked for 7pm The dinning look place in the garden room which was beautiful! The staff were very attentive and had a good knowledge of the menu. I had the goat's cheese with cashew raspberry museili with lovely fresh mixed leaves it was delicious then I had the chicken curry just the right about of spice served with rice and naan bread which was lovely soft and warm. My husband had the prawn cocktail with was made with a very light mayo and citrus dressing and served with weaten bread, he then had the breast of duck served as you requested it also came with a selection of carrot and sweet potato in blueberry jus it was delicious the duck was so tender. We finished our meal sharing a apple and Berry crumble served with custard it came very well presented in a teacup. We also had a coffee and an Irish coffee (husband said it was one of the best he has had) After dinner we went for a walk around the beautiful garden. We then went to the bar were we watched the night get dark over the beautiful sea view. We had a lovely relaxing sleep and came down to enjoy a delicious cooked breakfast which was warm (not always the case with buffet breakfast) again the staff were so helpful. We then went and got our car, which had been parked in the hotel only car park. We can't wait to return maybe for two nights next time.

Couples overnight break, hotel was beautiful, we opted for a room in the tower and it did not disappoint.

A lovely calming, comfortable hotel on the coast. Delightful staff, eager to please. Excellent food in the restaurant and bar. All in all a delightful experience

We enjoyed 2 nights at this lovely resort. The drive up the coast is one of the best in the world. The hotel was perfect. I woukd recommend a sea view and don’t miss the garden out back. Parking was easy. Dinner was delicious as was the included breakfast. We would live to return!

Hotel and areas exceeded expectations! We had the most wonderful time. Hotel was great, restaurant was excellent. The hotel gardens are beautiful. Hotel looks out over a beach and the sea. Beach is wonderful, clean, not busy and very relaxing. A wonderful spot. Note: There is nothing else here, no shops or restaurants, so if you like things on the quiet side then this is perfect!

Beautiful hotel - great location and gardens..Friendly staff, comfortable accomodation, and delicious food. . We will be back! :)
