Accommodation was everything I expected. The early checkin was very appreciated. The quietness was a Godsend as I'd had enough of Roosters and traffice by the time I arrived.

The hot water in the shower wasn't hot enough for me and, although nothing to do with the resort, the road leading to both the main road and the beach is really bad, even by Philippine standards.

No breakfast offered, but breakfast is available in the vicinity.

A bit of a long walk with challenges to people with mobility issues going to the beach. It would be great for young backpackers though.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place may look fine in photos, but in reality, it was a nightmare. We booked 6 nights in a budget room, stayed one, got moved to another slightly better room for the second, and then left early—disgusted. The room was filthy, with mould all over the bathroom, and the bed had what looked like either bed bug eggs or termite droppings. Both my girlfriend and I were bitten. After being out all day on a tour, we came back exhausted only to find more eggs on the bed. I had to plug a hole in the deteriorating coving with tissue to stop geckos from getting in. When we told the management we were leaving, they were indifferent—and worse, they still charged us for that night, even though we left immediately and had to book a last-minute hotel late in the evening. That wasn’t just bad service—it was completely immoral. This was honestly the worst travel experience we’ve had. Avoid this place at all costs.

Lady at the reception was nice. Nice garden. Good air con. Good location but road leading to it was not great.

Poor organisation of tour guide, we didn’t have a full experience but had to pay a full amount. Only received apology. This should be explained to us before us reaching the port where we couldn’t get the boat and wasted 3 hours. No bed stand or wardrobe but 3 beds… should be rooms available for couples with furnitures instead of 3 beds. Also some bugs on extra beds:-( no sure what was it but couple next door had to change the hotel because they thought it could be bed bugs. No breakfast available . I guess you get what you pay for

We had a good stay for 2 nights at Bohol Sea Breeze Cottages and Resort. They were very nice to answer our special request. They replied quickly to my question after I sent it to their FB page. A very welcome even after we checked-in very late. The 3 beds room was very clean and spacious. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoos, soaps and slippers were provided. It was very calm regarding the place in Alona, easy access and very near access to Kalipayan Beach. And most of all, no mosquitoes nor ants. They also allowed us to park our motorbike inside the garden. Thanks a lot.

Nothing regarding the host. However it's just a shame that our neighbors in the adjoining room do not have the decency to respect the silence induced in these places, keeping quiet from 4AM to 6AM, trying as much as possible avoiding untimely comings & goings on the terrace by slamming the door, as well as noisy discussions. Without being totally mute, there’s still a way to whisper and thus pay attention to others...just like it must be in Tarsier sanctuary by the way...

It was much better than I expected. There is nice common place outside for bbq and cooking and eating.

The room was spacious, hot water, no one disturbed us. But we had to ask when cleaning is needed. Better bring own towels and toiletries. The beach nearby involves steps and good to take boat but not for swim.
