Andaman Beach Suites Hotel

Great location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and markets. The hotel facilities are amazing, spacious room with balcony with a view, 2 large and warm swimming pools and a fully equipped gym made me feel very comfortable during my stay. The hotel service is outstanding, super friendly staff, always smiling and welcoming. Thai people you are amazing! They are really good on those little details like: making sure that the breakfast buffet was always full and the room cleaning service was impeccable. We tried room service and laundry service as well and they exceeded our expectations. This was definitely worth the price and I would love to come back next time.

The room I stayed had a glass door for the bathroom. Only the bottom half was frosted glass. If you stand up and walk inside the room, you can see someone using the toilet. If you and your partner have been together for decades and you’re used to seeing each other at the toilet this won’t be a problem for you. But if you prefer a little more privacy when doing your business, this can make you a bit uncomfortable. I would suggest to the hotel to make the whole door frosted glass instead of just the bottom half.

The views were amazing as was the room. Fab balcony on 14th floor with views the whole length of Patong Beach. Large room cleaned daily. Lovely massage round corner at Healthlands....mature women, great price, fab service. A good walk from Jungceylon and Bangla Road so prepare to be hot. Taxi from hotel to Jungceylon ( opposite Bangla rd) 200 baht. Taxi from Jungceylon back to hotel 500 baht!! Maybe call hotel for lift back. Swimming pools were large and clean, lots of space, infinity pool very relaxing although swim up pool bar was not open whilst we were there.

The breakfast, although a good choice, was predominantly sweet stuff such as choc croissants, sugary juices not fresh, very little Thai food, very 'processed' even yoghurt was flavoured. The sewage smell from the bathroom was quite overpowering even on 14th floor. Had to plug bath ( nice bath but taps would not turn on) and flush toilet even when not using it to get rid of smell. First night went up to Sky lounge to have a couple of cocktails to watch the sun going down over the ocean. Pina Colada and Bloody Mary.....no alcohol in either..hen asking the bar staff they just smirked and said sorry!!! Went to front desk and complained and said we would not pay for the 'cocktails'. They offered another drink if we went back up but we eventually pushed for a void of invoice due to staff attitude at Sky Lounge. Not enough chairs round pool for guests. Price was so much higher than a couple of years ago.

Andaman was such a beautiful hotel. Our room was upgraded on arrival which was absolutely wonderful. Our room was huge, so clean and comfortable. We were greeted at the pool while we were waiting by an advisor their Gerard who made us feel so welcome and brought us out some lovely fruits and we chatted for ages and gave us loads of advice about the place. Such a friendly hotel.

Fab 5 night stay for our first visit to Phuket, the hotel is spotless, all staff super friendly and helpful, air conditioning amazing and the location was excellent - loved our sea view room with amazing views. The hotel is located in a quiet street but 5/10 minute walk to the beach via a gate by the pool and minutes away from bars and restaurants, a fab massage place literally next door and a launderette a few doors down where we had all our washing done before moving to Rawai - approx 15 minute walk to Bangla Road and the madness. The swimming pool is so relaxing and was always quiet so plenty of sun loungers, the infinity pool with swim up bar was an Oasis for us - the hotel is also a time share resort so a mix of regular guests and new ones. Breakfast was always good, a buffet with a good mix of fruit, cereals, egg station and some Thai dishes - lovely to sit around the pool and eat. Luxurious and peaceful sums it up. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Hotel was lovely. Very good location. Close to beach. Pool area was very good. Rooms were very nice. Food was not great. My husband got food poisoning on the first day after eating steak. Room service was only done once in the 3 nights we stayed. Staff were nice and helpful

We watched this Annex to Andaman Beach Suites being built. We went to the property before it was even built, 20 years ago. We have watched the development of the area over the years we have visited, with more facilities now available in the area. However, the company need to replace the towels and bed linen which we found to be almost threadbare. There was no hot water in the bathroom basin where there was a boiler plugged in underneath: the plug was taped into the socket with electrical tape. None of this would put me off staying there again. We love the area for its peace and quiet but accessibility for all areas of Phuket. Andaman Beach Suites and their annex is exceptionally clean and kept well maintained and all of the staff friendly and helpful.

One of the best hotels in the best neighbourhood of Phuket. Everything nearby.
