Bathroom toilet short

Breakfast was ok, but nothing great. It did what I needed it for and I didn't need to go somewhere else to get my morning going. It had coffee and that was a plus.

Property was very clean, staff was helpful and friendly.

My only suggestion is some sort of breakfast meat to be included on the hotel complimentary breakfast.

I liked the bed and selection of pillows. I liked the room layout. Once I got used to the lighting switch system, it met my needs. Parking and accessibility were fine. I liked the ice machine next to the outer entrance/exit door so that I could fill my thermos for my walks as I left the building. I liked the two opposite street access points to the parking lot facilitating a drive in either direction. The close proximity to the highway, gas and convenience store was a plus. The pool looked inviting, but I had no time to try it. The building was very quiet on its hill above the street.

The sink in the room proper was OK, but there were no towel bars to hang a washcloth or hand towel after washing your hands and face once. The refrigerator did not stay cool, and the smell of stagnant water came from the melted ice cubes in the cube tray. The room was humid and the AC had to be cranked to compensate to the point of being too cold. Once you plugged in a computer, hot spot, rechargeable neck fan, and phone charger, there were no more outlets. When I picked up the tray with the ice bucket and coffee maker to make more room on the small table, there was a large spot of water underneath. The soaps were small and difficult to handle. There were no soap dishes so they stuck to the counter until I figured out to use the wrappers. The wall mounted hair dryer bracket was loose. These were just petty annoying things, apart from the fridge, and would not stop me from booking another stay. I have annual business in Chetek. In all fairness, I did not report anything during my stay, as I spent little time in the building.
