Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ponchatoula/Hammond

Location is close to interstate.- good Supposed to be a breakfast. Nothing... not even coffee. No one at desk. I had to hunt someone down to finally check in. 3 days later at checkout I couldn’t find anyone to do checkout. Just left key with a note on counter.

This is a pet friendly place and it smells like it. There is also a musty and moldy smell the minute you walk in the door. I am guessing they are trying to improve the area as there was rolls of carpet in the stairs and by the doors. Also the 1 ice machine that was working was not only dispensing ice But some black particles. Disgusting.

The bed appeared that someone slep in it many days and sheets had not been replaced. The blanket had dozens of bumps bigger than a fist and it had several holes and material was falling apart. When to the front desk clerk and showed her photos and she gave me new linen to replace the linen myself. The new blanket that I was given was actually worse than the first one but it was cleaned but it had like a 2sq.ft. Hole in it.

It was ok. TV doesn’t work. Maintence was suppose to come check it after they returned from lunch and they never showed up. The clerk was very friendly

The room wasn’t clean. The restroom had dirt everywhere and the tub wasn’t clean.

The rooms are very small, the first room we checked into had ants, so we had to be moved, the second room didn't have a mini fridge or microwave as advertised, the desk staff we polite but seemed like they were always on their cell phones or had their friends hanging out with them in the lobby so I had to wait for them to finish chatting to get service. The location isn't horrible but traffic can be complicating to work through at certain times of the day.

One of the dirtiest hotel stays in my experience. The Micro in the name describes the room size, but I knew this. The smoke detector was sitting on top of the armoire, not connected to the ceiling. Carpet had cigarette burns, bed linen stained. Window seat cushion stained and filthy.

The owners allowed the pool to be open all day, but one staff member would only open the pool from 4p-9pm. One staff member was not very friendly. Was very disappointed from the last time I stayed here.

There was no hot water and the sheets was dirty.. And it had crackheads walking the halls... Just TERRIBLE!!!!!
