"Poor"

Having stayedvher on numerous occasions , we were disappointed with the room, the room was not cleaned, no new towels given no fresh milk delivered as previously. The food was mediocre , the poor waitresses was left to deal with a full restaurant with no help. The caperts are badly stained

"top stay and would certainly return"

Service and approach of every staff member was excellent and to be commended. The food was varied and enjoyable with very good selection of wines and beer. It is on a main road but not noticeable with rooms spread out surrounding the main hotel - very well thought out

Always my go to now when in Newbury for business. Staff so friendly, excellent breakfast and room comfortable, if a bit on on the small side. My only bit of feedback from this visit is wheni pulled the TV out for optimal viewing position there was a thick layer of dust on the wall mount..just an oversight im sure.

The once beautiful rooms are now looking a little tired. The once spotless cream carpets in the rooms are stained and dirty. The kettles are chipped . Ovetall my favourite place no longer im afraid
