Hotel do Chiado

Loved our room with a terrace. Excellent view. Welcome by staff was lovely including the little chocolates a nd tarts.Great location as well. Helpful staff.

I think the only thing that I could suggest is better coffee at breakfast. The machine did not seem to have fresh milk in it, which gives the coffee a weird taste.

The hotel was perfectly located, close by to all the main attractions and a 2 minute walk from the metro for the airport

Breakfast was poor, not many options especially for those that are dairy free

This is a lovely boutique hotel in an excellent location. The staff is both friendly and very helpful in giving recommendations for meals & sites to see. The guest rooms are very nicely appointed & block out all of the street noise. That said, it’s fun to open the doors & enjoy the noise/music coming from the lively scene below. The view from the terrace bar/restaurant is magnificent. Highly recommend a stay at Hotel do Chiado!

Frühstück war OK, aber nicht besonders. Wir hätten bei eine 4 Sterne Hotel etwas mehr erwartet.

Im Zimmer waren keine Haken für Jacken und Mäntel, ansonsten gut ausgestattet.

Hotel Chiado delivers exactly what you want from a Lisbon stay — a well-located property in one of the city’s most characterful neighborhoods, with rooms that are comfortable and stylishly appointed. Staff are professional and helpful without being fussy. The rooftop bar is a genuine highlight — excellent drinks and one of the better views of the city you’re likely to find, particularly at golden hour. Breakfast is equally impressive, with a spread that goes well beyond the standard hotel offering and sets you up properly for a day of exploring. For anyone who wants to be within easy walking distance of the best Lisbon has to offer, this is an easy recommendation.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The staff were all exceptionally helpful. We asked so many questions, and we used their expertise many times throughout our stay. The breakfast room was beautiful, the buffet and the view made for a lovely start to our day as well as the roof top bar.

The dinner restaurant menu could have been a little more fulsome, perhaps more options. We wanted to dine in, but the menu was limited. The bedrooms are very dark - great for sleeping, but felt a wee bit gloomy.
