Eden Hôtel & Spa Cannes

My stay was very disappointing. I booked a superior room with a city view with a balcony and 2 twin beds. When we got there they put me in a room in back of the hotel with a balcony view of a courtyard of the back of other dirty buildings. I felt like i was in a ghetto somewhere instead of a beach in Cannes. The room also smelled like cigarettes and the 2 twin beds were pushed together in the space of 1 king size bed. It was as if my cousin and i were sleeping together because there was no space in between the beds. I immediately requested a change in room for what i paid for. I had to go back and forth with the front desk attendant until i finally requested to speak with the manager. The manager finally said it was nothing she could do for that day but she can change my room the next day to the front of the building obviously where the rooms are located with the “city view” but i had to downgrade to a standard room with no balcony because all the superior balcony rooms were booked. I agreed to this because i did not come to France to wake up and look at the back of dirty buildings. I requested the price adjustment because of the downgrade in room. I had to fight with the manager about that because she did not want to do it but finally agreed on a 25 euro a night refund which really was not the price difference from a superior to standard room but i was done fighting. When checking out they only refunded me for 3 of the 4 nights. This was a horrible experience.

The hotel was nice but not great given the price of the room. Checkin was a bit infuriating given the lateness of staff having rooms prepared. The spa was very relaxing though and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very close to major landmarks and tourist locations though. So it was very convenient location wise.

This unassuming hotel felt like great value in expensive Cannes. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is pretty good, 5 minutes from the beach, and at one end of the main shopping street. My triple room was spacious, not just a double with an extra bed rammed in. The indoor pool was very pleasant. My only slight frustration was that there was a 20 euro per day fee to use the small rooftop pool, but the indoor one was much bigger and free to use. Overall, recommended :)

The property was beautiful, relaxing and a convenient location. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. If they didn’t know something they would search the internet for the answers such as local restaurant closing times etc. we had a fantastic stay, the rooms were brilliant and so was the spa. The breakfast was a true feast and had everything you could imagine or want for breakfast, even down to the self cook crepes. If we come back to Cannes this is where we will come back to stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

Excellent location in the vibrant area of Cannes!

I love this hotel!!! Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, and amazing location!!! The only suggestion is that guests should be able to use the outdoor pool for free.

My wife is pregnant and when arrived from a long 8 hour flight to Cannes, we politely asked to check in a little early so she could rest. They said absolutely not. Check in is 3pm here. That evening, we asked if we could check out a little later the next day (check out was 11am which is less than a full 24 hour stay). They wouldn’t have it. I tried calling the front desk a few times - no answer ever! So, beyond the really crappy front desk staff, the decor was nothing special, the rooms were tiny (we could barely fit our luggage), the spa wasn’t really a spa, it was a pool, steam room (for two people) and a small sauna. The two highlights were the gentlemen who helps with luggage (sweetheart of a man), and the staff that helps with the breakfast buffet in the morning. I’ll never stay here again. Highly suggest staying at a hotel that treats you kindly and gives you a warm welcome - unlike this one!
