Montecassino Hotel and Event Venue

I booked this hotel because it was walking distance to Rogers Stadium. It was only a 15 minute walk so it served it's purpose. Otherwise I found this hotel in dire need of a renovation.

Paid for two beds and got one. To fix it, they moved us to a room with broken air conditioning on a hot humid summer day. Then they said they would try to fix it. We said we didn’t have ti to wait so we went back to one bed for four people. When we asked at least to get some blankets to sleep on the floor, they said they had none to spare. When I asked for some compensation for this disaster, they said no because we booked through Expedia. Just wow.

We were very happy. Fairly easy to find, clean and quiet. Didn’t seem busy or to be in a busy part of town but reasonable price and did offer a simple breakfast which was great for our family.

Obvious excellent spot for Rogers Stadium. Overall satisfaction OK. Only lows are worn furniture...bit outdated and no fridge. Other than that its fine.

This hotel is very close and a convenient walk to Roger’s stadium. My wife walked to the stray kids concert from the hotel to the stadium. It also has a bike Toronto bike station right outside and bike lanes that allowed me to bike to the trails of G Ross Lord park while she was at the concert. Property did a good job of managing cars due to the opening Rogers Stadium. Most of the exits of this hotel are closed. All the machines in the gym need repaired or replaced but the free weights and bench still work.

Great walking distance to Roger’s stadium! Quiet rooms and welcoming staff

Our room was clean and the location is close to the Rogers Stadium. There's a cafe across the street. We would stay again.

Overall fine stay. Walkable from public transportation. Prime location for Rogers stadium events. Simple Breakfast.
