Petit Palace Arana

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay here. Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast with healthy choices, eco-friendly, clean and charming rooms. Could not ask more for the price. Highly recommend this hotel.

Room was TINY and worn. Could use a refresh. Additionally, the window in the room opened onto a roof access for equipment in interior of building so there was no light coming in the room. Considering we stayed during the coronavirus outbreak putting us in a nicer room (as the hotel was nearly empty) would have gone a long way. Only plus was the location (reason I selected). Located in Old Town in middle of pintxos bar area. Park at Arenal underground parking about 5 minutes away.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Perfect location. Comfortable stay. Hotel undergoing renovation work but was not an issue.

The Staff, particularly Maria, were excellent and answered any questions we had. The shower in the room was not great as the bar did not extend out far enough to be able to stand under it

The location is great

Great location on the edge of the old city. Easy to walk to sites in old city and along the river into town. City tram across street. Newer bathroom improvements were very nice.

Staff was very friendly. Room was small and oddly furnished. The bathroom was quite large but there was NOWHERE to put toiletries or towels. No hooks, no counters. It was odd. They had room for a huge piece of furniture in the corner or hooks or storage under the sink. But nothing. And they had a metal stopper on the ground that twice we fell victim to when walking barefoot into the bathroom. Dangerous. The floors were so thin that when the people above me were in their bathroom, I truly thought they were in mine. Our room was at the top of the open stairs. We could hear anyone who came into the hotel and the staff in the early morning. We had no real window. Who knew? There was one in bathroom and one in bedroom and they both opened up to a creepy, dingy and dark maintenance rooftop. That said, the location is perfect, staff helpful, breakfast lovely and included.

Very friendly staff, great cleaners, nice breakfast (but I would recommend putting a little note that the coffee machine has a swipe screen for more options....I see everyone struggling to find regular Americano). Room was small but okay. Last day the airco was freaking, going automatically on and off, no way to turn it off completely. But it was okay as the room is quite hot.

The bathroom was a bit cramped for space, which is my only complaint.

Good location but way to close to all people begging in streets and very crowded... hotel is very old, rooms are awful and the hotel is too expensive for that its for... if you are just to visit the old town probably is good option if dont mind outdated hotel... We had to move to another hotel since we had a car and the place dont have parking. -
