Mellow Moon Lodge

The common areas were very cute and well thought with chairs couches and gas fireplaces. Nice to have actual dishes in the room. Wonderful to be able to get coffee and homemade pastries on site. Anna, the manager was delightful, helpful, personal and went put of her way to make us feel welcome.

The areas outside the rooms could use a little dressing up. Looked kind of drab. Could sweep the areas outside the room especially if you know someone will be using the room. Our room a king suite was quite dark giving it s gloomy look. It would have been nice to have some rugs as the concrete floors were cold. Adding a towel hook next to the sink and the shower would have been nice.

The facility was good. Check in was simple and efficient.

We got there at night. The bedroom lighting was awful. We had to use our phone flashlights. Eventually, we noticed that the pillows were not clean nor the linens. Most of the towels were full of blue stains and smelled moldy. Maybe it had some fungus. The bed covers also had the same blue stains.

Barn door on the bathroom didn't allow much privacy, plus no door in the inside. Back side of the door was a little gross.

The bed was comfortable. Monte Vista Animal Refuge was about 25 minutes away.
