Hotel a bit old fashioned

Staff were great and the central location meant that I could get around easily.

Not much, the room was bigger than the other hotels I had stayed in.

Was at first rather hesitant to book this hotel given the mixed reviews I read here but the stay turned out to be way better than expected. For a start it is just less than 5 mins away from Nagoya station for anyone arriving into Nagoya by train and less than 10 mins walk to the train station that arrives from the airport. The hotel is indeed rather old from the decor of the lobby as well as the room. The room though rather old looking is clean and well sized by Japanese standard . The bathroom however is rather awkwardly designed that it is rather tight when trying the close the door. The room also comes with a good working table but the challenge is with the weak WiFi signal ! The bed is also low which means getting on and off the bed rather uncomfortable otherwise every thing is good for the room. The breakfast however was a disappointment was we would have chose to skip it ! Overall the location of the hotel would be the standout point for anyone who wants convenience .

I love this hotel, even it is a bit aged in the lobby. Location is super good that you can walk by few minutes to one of the exits of subway, or even the Nagoya Station via the underground street. What impressed me is the hotel provides non-plastic daily products, which upgrade the class of your living. With a big window in the room, you can enjoy the street view of Nagoya city area. Staff are super friendly as the Japanese always does. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. I will definitely stay again for next time.
