O´Brien Historic Hotel

Staff was amazing. We stayed two nights. When we reported that our tub was stuff at half bath/half shower, we were upgraded to a jacuzzi tub suite! The location is within walking distance of The Alamo, Tower of the Americas, restaurants, and so much more.

The rooms were not fully stocked. Neither room had Kleenex, although we were given a new box on request. Our first room only had one bath wash cloth, although the booking was for two people. The second room had no wash cloths at all. Although we received the free upgrade, since staff was aware of the tub issue in 308 before our stay, i feel that it should have been fixed, or we should have been given a different room. The staff, however, was excellent. With a little more attention to detail, this would be a 10 star hotel.

Alot of noise. Room was very dirty...drapes, accessories, room.dors NOTlooklike the pictures in advertising, smells very musty AC is questionable how clean, no breakfast or even free coffee offered, ...I get this is an old building but definitely not worth the money paid. Didn't even use the shower because of nervousness of cleanliness. TV did not work...kept saying internet nit working yet our personal phones dud. We asked several times to fix the tv....always pushed it off on the manager who was never there. I believe the TV was just for show. It never worked. Just cant believe how dusty and unkempt the room was. Parking was extra as it was everywhere making the price a terrible value. I believe that Booking.com.shoukd NOT endorse this motel. I love using Booking but this location was nasty..and I camp and love being in the woods. This was even a dirty unkept place....for me. Very disappointed.
