Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino

Nice enough; not for >$1,000 per night for ocean view. Pool and beach chairs highly annoying. It’s a hunger games competition to get access. Like the Marriott surf club, you have to book the Beach Palapas using the app. It sells out instantly . On day three, I decided to bring towels from the day before to the adult pool. I got down there at 6:40 AM with coffee thinking I would just hang out for a while and claim a chair. There were three people standing by an unattended entrance gate to the adult pool. I walked right by them, and as I went through the gate, a woman came at me with an attitude telling me it wasn’t open until seven and that that’s why they were on line. I hope she reads this. I was so disgusted with her attitude. I went back inside and will not attempt to go to the adult pool. I’m not competing for chairs. Paying up for the Ritz is worth it.

We just got back from the Marriott Stellaris and have only positive things to say about our stay at the Marriott and the wonderful island of Aruba. We were a bit overwhelmed by the amount of information we were given at check in regarding the "how tos" on resort, so it took a bit of acclimating. However the next morning after we checked in we found Ludwig at the service counter and he was amazing helping us navigate the hotel, the excursions, etc. He was always a welcoming face during our stay. Las instalaciones, el desayuno y el personal fue muy amable (con algunas excepciones ) Mi amiga necesitó que le tomaran la presión varias veces y también fueron geniales

El tema de las palapas , me parece que no es cómodo , hay que reservar por una app y si no tenés que rogar por una cada mañana. La ubicación es un poco alejada y no podés ir caminando al centrito, salvo por la playa.

We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation at the Marriott Stellaris. Everything was easy and comfortable. The room was great, cleaning staff helpful and the beach was great. Special mention to Carlos and Javier at the beach hut. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet and à la carte choices. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is nice, just not the best fit for us and - in my opinion - a bit overpriced for what it is. It really caters to families from middle America with children. There is an adults only section but still feels extremely family-oriented.

I've stayed at this property multiple times and it never disappoints. I typically travel with my husband and we take advantage of the Tradewinds option, but this time we traveled with our two children - so the experience was a bit different and I was hesitant on whether or not this would be the best property to pick. I'm so glad we stayed here. Every aspect of the experience was phenomenal. Our kids had an absolute blast. The hotel is on the beach with palapas which you can have food/drinks delivered to. The pool is great - big lots of fun and not super crowded. Some of the other properties we (briefly) considered weren't ocean front - which would have completely changed the experience. It's not an all-inclusive so if that's something you prefer there are other options, but with so many great restaurants in Aruba - all-inclusive feels like a waste. Palm Beach is amazing! The location can't be beat!

Beach and location are great. Staff is friendly and professional.

Our room overlooks the pumps and filters for the pool area by the gym. If the noise can not be reduced perhaps a decorative mesh netting could be suspended over the system to mitigate the eyesore. On the third day we received a note indicating they weren't able to clean our room because the privacy please sign had been displayed. The note was intended for room 603 not 303 so I called house keeping to let them know. Ironically that was the last time our room was cleaned timely. I needed to call each day thereafter and twice, even after the call no one came. I am not sure who actually cleaned the room because someone different came with each call and on the last evening the women who could not speak English seemed to be saying she just couldn't get all the rooms cleaned. She indicated this by wiping her forehead and holding her hands up in frustration.

Family Suite Was EXCELLENT.

Beach Umbrella Rental Lady was rude and inconsistent. We only needed a couple of chairs for a couple hours in the morning before departing for example. The entire beach was empty. She gives us a chair behind a pile of garbage cans and old chairs with no view of the ocean. Just totally obnoxious lady. For $4000 for three days, I deserve a stinking chair. Please. Get a new policy and staff for beach access. I don't want to have to "log into a website at 8am either" just give people chairs First come first serve. Only leave a few for reservations only. Simple logic.

Not one complaint about our stay. The rooms are new and clean. The app to reserve beach chairs is so organized and easy to use. The app can also be used for drinks and food to be brought to your chair - so easy and convenient! The location is great - and the end of the strip next to the ritz very calm and not busy part of the beach. We loved the beach bar and the beach restaurant is beautiful at sunset for dinner. Also the gym is big and nice! My whole family enjoyed everything about the resort we will be back!
