A bit worn, small towels, no cups in bathroom, no water

The room was big and the breakfast good even though a bit repetitive.

You can't open the window or change air in any way so the smell is what it is. The shower was in very poor condition.

Old school hotel across the bridge in Lafayette. Stayed here while moving my son out of his dorm room for the year. We had a balcony suite and it was fine for a couple days. Bed was comfortable, nice shower (and a clawfoot tub in the room we had), small refrigerator, and cozy gas fireplace. This was likely an older hotel that they've kept up with renovations. The facility itself is average, but it's clean and service was fantastic and that's what I grade higher on. They helped me get the Keurig going and brought blankets and extra towels for my son on the sofa (not a sofa bed but he managed). Parking is free on the lot, which is a bonus. I would say the cons are that there is street noise, bathroom sink drained slow, bathtub is for the able bodied - there are no safety bars etc., and the breakfast buffet was lukewarm at best. But they really do try to meet any request, and I would stay there again based on that.
