Holiday Inn Lafayette-City Centre by IHG

The price we pay for the hotel we expect more. the room carpet was sticky and smell musty. The hotel corridor smells like a gas leak. I did mention that this to the fromt desk. Bathrooms shower faucets can be improved.

Rooms are spacious. Great location for food and close to Purdue.

Sink is NOT draining properly. No room service. They did not told us its on demand

While I like this hotel and it's in a great location, here are some of the things I don't like ... the showers are just awful. Each time I've stayed in this hotel, the showers get worse and worse. I don't know if they are waiting to do a remodel, but they need one badly. The base of the shower is just gross, as they've painted/sealed over the shower insert to prolong it's life and the paint/seal is peeling - where it's peeling, there is mold growing and it's just not a good look - it detracts from the hotel. The included breakfast is a great benefit, but when we ate there, the plates from the stack that everyone takes from were dirty. It's these things you may overlook that are a big deal. Staff at the front desk were nice and helpful, but didn't present as professional.

I'm a Platinum Elite member. The hotel was a disaster, dirty carpet, disgusting bathrooms, clogged toilets and restrooms, and bugs in the room. I would never return. It was as if it had been abandoned. Almost $800 for two days. The reservation says breakfast is included, and then they charge you for it because they outsource it. A disaster. Total abandonment of the guest. On top of that, the rates were doubled or tripled due to Purdue University's move.

It was a college move in weekend, and there was only one staff at the front desk, and not enough workers at the hotel. Overalll, the place was clean, but dirty towels were placed on the hallway and bathroom shower needs to be upgraded. The front desk personnel was friendly and professional.

Wonderful - arrived early but room was ready!

The bathrooms in the rooms were dated & need upgraded. The shower dripped, the floor in the shower was old and had stains. The walls of the room were thin and we could hear the loud neighbors all night. The doors slam on every room. The cofffee maker was old and looked like corrosion inside. No free coffee in the hotel, had to pay for it. When I complained at front desk about coffee maker staff could have given me voucher for free coffee but she didnt care. No free breakfast like most Holiday Inns. Would not stay again.

AC did not work, room was 79 degrees all night. Called front desk and they said theu would have someone look at it. Sweated all night

Room 504 night of August 9th, nobody came to clean our room, when I mentioned this to the desk person in turn at night he did not even apologize or asked if we needed anything.
