If you are American then what is there not to love about this place. Owned by a huge US holding company, giving you exactly the Italy you have been sold for all these years. Great service, great attention to detail. For the rest of us, the staff are attentive but dining staff are poorly trained in etiquete; a skill that was noticably present in the past.

If you are European then what is there to like about this place. Owned by a huge US holding company, giving you the American version of Italy rather than the true Italy that you know has existed for all these years. Tuscan food is not steeped in garlic, but it is here. The hotel is full of Americans who have bought into the false Italian image; borne out by the background noise of a loud Americal Drawl in all the communal areas. Visited this hotel BEFORE Boyvoy bought it and it was peaceful and very Itallian with a great dinning area and suptuous food. . . All that has been removed now and the soul has been pulled from the place. The staff are very good and they are trying to keep face, but my heart goes out to them, as it must be difficult with the soul removed.

Grotto experience itself was incredible and unique.

We’ve had Grotta Giusti on our bucket list for a long time, but unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing. For a 5-star hotel charging €350+ per night, the value just isn’t there. The biggest issue was the accessibility of the facilities. We arrived at 7 PM and were told the pool was open until midnight, only to find out that "Swimming Under the Stars" was exclusively for outside guests paying €35. As hotel guests paying ten times that, we were denied access. The standard pool hours (10 AM – 7 PM) are very restrictive, and the Grotto requires appointments only between 10 AM and 5 PM with a long lunch break in between. To top it off, the Grotto is an additional fee. For a 5-star property charging €350 per night, the experience was underwhelming. The breakfast was especially poor quality—certainly not 5-star standard. The selection was very limited, the food was served cold, and it was exactly the same every single day of our stay. To make matters worse, they have the audacity to charge an extra €6 just for a fried egg. The rooms are small and there is no climate control, which made the room uncomfortable even in April. On our final day, the pool was fully drained. While they offered a discount for the Grotto, it didn't make up for the fact that I only managed to use the pool once during a 3-night stay. Highly suggest looking elsewhere if you expect a true 5-star experience. While the Grotto experience itself was incredible and unique, I would strongly suggest staying elsewhere. You can easily book a day pass for the Grotto and thermal pool without the frustration of staying at the hotel.

1. It’s for some reason for other guest they help With bag , but me I think I didn’t look enough good to help me with child , Grotto bit for kids , ofc no where it’s say when u book . And pool wish only for guest is very very dirty
