Floor left black residue on feet and clothes. Door opens to parkinlot, noisy with traffic and people talking. Loud noises from upstairs.

Can't really complain about this place. The staff was wonderful. You get what you pay for. Its not fancy but it was clean and not to far from Pine Knob

Very disappointed in the new ownership. The room was filthy. I had to ask to be moved. Danny at the front desk is amazing, but he can't do everything himself, especially when the owners do not care. If you have a complaint, some of the staff are very shady and aren't interested in helping you at all. The sheets were dirty, human sexual fluids were on the sheets, there was open soap in the bathroom, trash in the trash can. How does Housekeeping think that is a clean room?

Our room was filthy, I was scared to sleep there due to lack of cleanliness. There were spot of good covered handprints all over the walls and the floors look like they’ve never been cleaned. There were hairs wrapped around the shower curtain and gunk in the sink. I was disgusted.

The bathroom was dirty, hole in the wall behind the door. The bath towels were stained..

One of the worst places I have ever stayed at. Made decision to stay there based on pictures on Hotels.com website. Pics are modified to look clean and bright. hotel needs to be condemned. This was a business trip with total of 3 rooms booked. Sheets had stains, towels had stains my workers had to go to front desk to get clean sheets. The Indian owners of this place do not keep up the property. in addition many of first floor rooms there are people that live there full time and are very sketchy with personal lawn chairs and bbq grills. TVs in 2 rooms did not work as well as one room fridge did not work and had to move the microwave in the bathroom to use because not enough outlets.

The hotel from top to bottom was filthy!

I booked a room for 2 nights. Ice machine was broken. There was no plug for the bathroom sink. humid 90 degree weather no air conditioning in lobby or hallways. Returned for our 2nd night stay our keys did not work. Very nice receptionist rekeyed only to open room and someone else was in the room. We had left some belongings in the room and were told housekeeping didn't find anything in the room. They did move us to another room however we are still missing items left in the first room.

very nice stay check in was quick great staff stayed 2 nights saw several guests enjoying the pool .asked how it was and lol with the heat outside he said man what agreat time he had , hmm i know it sounds like a commercial but thats the truth--ed moran

Unfortunately, with limited options for hotels close to Pine Knob in our price range, this is what we settled on. I didn't have high expectations from the start but it was definitely worse than i anticipated. When we arrived an hour after check in, we were told our room "might be ready". We got to our room to find it still being cleaned, but were told it was finished? When we actually get into out room we discover that it is indeed not clean. we have to find someone to come finish cleaning while we wait. When we get back to our room 10 minutes later and see no one is in there, we assume it would be clean. It wasn't. At this point we give up and decide to just wear our shoes in the room and try not to touch too many of the surfaces. I know this is a budget hotel, but basic cleanliness should be a standard. There was also no extra pillows, blankets or toilet paper, and the air conditioner was rattling so loudly that we couldn't sleep. I wouldn't have stayed here for more than 1 night.
