Great atmosphere

Love staying af this hotel. It’s very private, quiet and clean. The staff is helpful and attentive. Their property is big but has a very cozy feel.

Top marks for one of the nicest hotels in Palm Springs. My absolute go to every time I come to the city.

I booked a last minute trip and really wasn’t sure what to expect. The whole place is really well thought out. The decor is really well curated. Things like great pillows and large Nespresso machines make such a big difference in a room. A few other nice things: -We brought our dog and they had great little welcome bags for him. -My wife’s been looking for a good tapas bar in LA without much success, but theirs is great. The restaurant is worth a visit even if you’re not staying at the hotel. - Really well stocked snacks and drinks in the rooms bar. - With the hotel being older ( while its renovations are great) there’s way more character to it than some other places we’ve been. It kind of legitimizes it’s atmosphere.

We’ve always wanted to stay at the Villa Royale after we stumbled upon the hotel when we visited their restaurant Del Rey a couple years ago. We had the opportunity to stay here last weekend and had the best weekend ever. We were greeted with friendly faces, complementary drinks, and a room upgrade, which was an amazing way to kick of a birthday weekend. We loved our spacious room and the fact that the hotel itself was adults. Only the poolside drinks and food were awesome and a great addition to have while we were relaxing. I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

Developed in 1947, it has a elegant feel while still being modern in design and facilities. A nice pool surrounded by the rooms and a second quieter pool and hot tub (very hot!) in the grounds. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very polite and efficient. Had a great stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

Personnel à l'accueil pas du tout sympa, ils ne vous accueillent même pas avec toutes vos valises, alors qu'ils voient très bien qu'on cherche l'entrée du check-in. Elle préfère boire dans sa gourde à la paille devant nous et parler avec la gouvernante !!! on a du luter pour changer de chambre alors que l'hôtel n'était pas complet, afin de ne pas être face à la piscine principale où tout le monde regarde dans votre chambre !!! Aucun geste pour notre lune de miel, qui avait été annoncé des mois avant avec une chambre au calme !!! Bref le management n'est pas au top. On a demandé à voir le Directeur qui n'est jamais venu en 4 jours (4 nuits au total). Le personnel du petit dej et de ménage sont très sympathiques. Les piscines sont très agréables. Les chambres sont ok avec la clim assez bruyante, très propre.

Great facility, staff was extremely friendly and paid attention to the little details. Brought water around to people at the pool when it was hot, keep the facility picked up throughout the day and always had a big smile. The complimentary breakfast was better than you get most hotels. First class restaurant and bar on site.
