Villa Royale

Can’t say enough about this charming hotel. The ambience and decor is unique and chic. There are many different areas to relax, including the multiple pools, a rooftop lounge, Del Mar restaurant indoors at the bar (gorgeous), or outdoors, the lanai with Audrey Hepburn, and of course, your room. We booked the Biscayne and it was one of my favorite hotel rooms ever. Indoor and outdoor fireplace/pit. Bar, beamed ceilings, and Debbie Harry holding court over it all. Quiet hotel, super friendly staff. I would be so disappointed if I were to never make it back. Only one negative was the quality of the beastly (free) bikes.

Villa Royale is always our first choice for a place to stay in Palm Springs. We love the gorgeous rooms, comfy beds, Nespresso machines, courtyards, fountains, nooks, pools, pool bar, the hotel restaurant Del Ray (hidden gem)… The list goes on. This recent stay, as soon as we checked in management offered us some sangria served with a lovely edible flower garnish. Then they offered us a free drink for being return guests. And they managed to find us a King room even though our reservation was very last minute and they were pretty fully booked. It’s one of the ways they go above and beyond. Any room at this hotel is well designed and comfortable. The suites are especially nice and worth the splurge. Landscaping is beautiful, pools are inviting, breakfast is served on the patio near the pool and sometimes in the evening there are freshly baked cookies and milk. Our fav.

The Villa was gorgeous. My partner and I celebrated our anniversary here. We checked in at the lobby and were greeted with a welcome drink. Our room was complimentary upgraded, and we were gifted a bottle of sparking wine to celebrate our anniversary. The room was very clean and beautifully furnished. Staff was extremely friendly, and the amenities were amazing. I spent some time enjoying a book by the pool, and treated myself to homemade cookies in the evening provided by the Villa. It was also close to downtown, so we were able to enjoy Palm Springs entirely. It is the perfect spot to stay when in town, and at such a great price point.

Great place to stay! Very friendly staff, clean rooms, breakfast was an added perk and the restaurant on site is delicious. The design of the hotel is beautiful and very inspiring. Perfect for a relaxing and fun vacation.

Villa Royale is a very special place with beautiful rooms, pool and grounds. The staff is very professional , the services are top notch and the setting is beautiful and private. Hope to return in the future!

A beautiful tucked away hotel. There are multiple pools, with different vibes: you can hang and get drinks or just lounge. At night on the weekends they had milk and cookies, the staff was all very kind, the space was very clean: a wonderful place to just spend some time. The room we had was big and had a comfy bed and sitting room, but its all very well kept midcentury vibes. If you are looking for DJs and pool parties this is not really it, but if you are looking to nest: enjoy the heat and take a break by a pool this is an oasis.

I have no notes: even the cleaning staff went out of their way to be friendly and kind. There is a system where you must text the concierge to get cleaning or rent bikes etc: this was incredibly convenient for me: but I could imagine a world where someone not used to texting might have trouble.

My daughter and I stayed at the Villa Royale on a road trip to her new military duty station. I would agree that it is a hidden gem! The rooms are quaint and well appointed with a very comfy feel, huge bathroom, and stocked snack/drink bar. Our room was perfect for us! Also, the breakfast was phenomenal! It was fresh, delicious, light fare including a bagel bar with jars of fruit jam, whipped butter and cream cheese, lox, and capers. Artisan bread, Greek yogurt, with a fresh fruit salad and a toasted coconut, oats, and almonds granola for topping. I made the most delicious parfait, while my daughter poured some almond milk and enjoyed the granola as cereal. There were fresh juices (orange and grapefruit), even light wines (5 o'clock somewhere...lol). And, one of the best parts of breakfast was the vibe. Everyone seemed to grab breakfast and then find a corner by the pool. It felt like we were at a chill get together. Anyway, we loved it! It was a laid back, very cool experience from the welcome drinks through the quick and easy checkout.
