Northwoods Inn & Suites Blackduck

The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Hotel needs new lobby furniture & carpet, tell it's very, very old. Nice owners. We liked our room except the coffee pot was one cup and no coffee grounds. One lamp had no light bulbs, so it was little dark in the room.

It was quiet and affordable. They were very friendly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Always had smiles on their faces. A plus to them. Lobby was nicely decorated. Motel was clean. We would stay there again. Good location.

There was very weird smell upon entering the hotel, bathroom floor had hair, dust and some tiny dead bugs in the corners, bathtub was so gross, uncleaned and water had a horrible smell to it. Heater made a loud noise while it was running and fridge didnt cool. I will never stay there again and i wouldnt recommend it to anyone. We ended up checking out a day early. To top it off we let them know we didnt need house keeping and someone still went into our room while we were gone. Just a complete disappointment.

Overall, we had a decent stay here for one night while travelling through the area. Staff were friendly and helpful, and it was nice to have coffee and breakfast items in the morning. The room was comfortable, but I felt it could have been cleaner than it was, especially the washroom.

Quit and very friendly sraff

Family owned basic hotel stay. Basic breakfast of cereal and muffins. Hot coffee. No pool. Rooms were clean. Just an old hotel. Decent for the price, just passing through or fishing locally. Nothing for kids to do. The owners were very friendly.

It was a nice room and comfortable. The room needs some remodeling

Went to red lake for a few days and stayed here. Cheap and perfect for a place to sleep. There is a gas station and general store down the road that has basically all you need.
