TURIM Lisboa Hotel

Our 4th stay at Hotel Turim and still good value, quiet location for a short stay in Lisbon. We had a room on the top floor and although the decor was a little faded, it provided a comfortable base for our visit. Good breakfast with a wide range of hot and cold food, including lots of fruit and cakes. Very friendly staff who speak good English. Quiet neighbourhood, with a useful supermarket 1 minute round the corner; this also had a cafe which offered a daily menu of main course, bread roll and drink (glass of wine etc) for only 3.5 euro. Three metro staions within 5 minutes walk so easy travel. We will stay there again.

Clean, friendly and very helpful staff. Only let down by poor breakfast for € 10 and dreadful coffee/juice - go to a local pastellaria instead

Very nice, reasonably priced hotel in neighborhood near Marques de Pompal near 3 metro stops. Friendly staff. My only concerned was that my room (704) had an adjoining room with a very thin door. I could hear every word that my neighbors said (luckily they were neither loud nor talkative). Recommend that management better insulate the doors that link adjoining rooms.

There was a water infiltration in the side wall and into the floor. Strong smell of mold. The internet service was unusable and I had to get an alternative internet solution. This was a business tril and not having internet in my room was a huge inconvinience.

good i recommend if you are visiting lisbon..... big rooms and very clean........ internet not so good but is ok

Nice hotel, close (3-5 min) walk from 3 metro stations, limes. Supermarket Pingo Doce is just 1 min from hotel. Need some updating. Rooms size is great. Lovely park is 3 min. walk with great view for Lisbon and water.

OUR ROOM WAS VERY NOISY THROUGHOUT THE NIGHTS.WE THOUGHT EITHER THE WASHING MACHINE OR ANOTHER EQUIPMENT WAS ALWAYS RUNNING IN THE NIGHTS

OVERALL A GOOD EXPERIENCE. Buffet breakfast was varied and hardy Staff pleasant and helpful We got a family room on the 6th floor .

We have just enjoyed our 3rd visit to this hotel. Do not be put off by the approach – some of the adjacent buildings have been allowed to fall into disrepair. Inside the hotel is spacious and well equipped. The décor is a little dated, with a lot of wood and marble, but this tends to give it character. Our room, on the top floor, was spacious, with the added bonus of a balcony: it was kept scrupulously clean. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in the room, and the included breakfast provided a good selection of hot and cold food. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful: there was also a bowl of apples to help yourself to. Although the hotel is within walking distance of the town centre, we found it very useful to buy a 24 hour transport ticket ( which includes metro, all trams and elevadors) for 6 euros. Parque metro station is only a few minutes walk away. There is a large supermarket (Pingo Doce) just round the corner. Not only does this sell a wide range of food,etc but also has a restaurant where you can buy a set lunch (main course, roll and wine) for an amazing 3.50euros. It was full of locals eating – always a good sign! All in all, we feel that The Turim Lisboa is a good choice for a city break and is excellent value for money. We shall stay there again when next visiting Lisbon.
