"Disappointed....."

The villa was clean and your staff was wonderful. However, the villa is NOT air conditioned. Only the bedrooms have AC. This made the trip miserable. Having slatted, exterior doors and walls lets the warm air blow through 24 hours a day. This also allows sound to travel from each villa to the next villa. I tried watching the 1 TV, in the main room, at 10 pm but neighbors complained because they could hear my TV. It was NOT loud. So I had to stop watching TV. No TV in bedroom, why? Very disappointed. Then there's the ants. EVERYWHERE! I had to keep cookies and chips in the refrigerator to keep ants away. Set down your plate to eat and ants are on it within 5 minutes. Plus there's the mosquitos because the villa is wide open. For the price it was a good value.

The service was not good, welcome minibar empty despite they promoted as included in the price, as well as other stuff that is offered but not available once you are in the hotel. The managers should pay attention to those small details. The location and arounds are good.

We had a very pleasant stay at Papagayo Resort. My family and I felt truly welcome from the moment we arrived, and we enjoyed an amazing experience throughout our visit. A special thank you to the wonderful team at Papagayo Resort. Daya, Cinoly, and Nela were especially helpful and made our stay even better with their kindness and excellent service. We really appreciate everything and look forward to visiting again!
