Papagayo Beach Resort

Marionella, nedrah, mark, harm and everybody else at the resort are incredible! Cannot reccomend more. The room with views of the ocean, the private beach, great restaurants, PARADISE

Fantastic accommodation (bungalow 304) with a private pool in a beautiful location overlooking the garden and sea. Service-minded staff at the reception (Anissa Landiz). Daily cleaning, fresh towels and bath towels provided daily. Minor issues (loose shower head and loose decking board) were resolved within a few hours by maintenance. Relaxed and peaceful atmosphere throughout the resort. Disappointing experience at the beach club restaurant (at the hotel).

We had a wonderful stay at the resort — the villa was absolutely amazing and perfect for our family. Unfortunately, our experience was slightly overshadowed by an issue after we left. I realized at the airport that I had forgotten my jewelry box in the villa. I called the resort immediately, and they confirmed they had it and just needed my details to ship it back. While I appreciated the quick response at first, I never received any updates afterward and had to follow up multiple times over the next few weeks. After three weeks, I was finally told there would be a shipping cost — something that was never mentioned before. It’s now been a month and they have yet to send it or respond. I wish I could have left a much better review.

Exceeded all expectations. We stayed in a villa on the resort. The villa was really big, airco in the two bedrooms (2 separte beds for the kids and a kings size bed for us). No airco in the living room, however a really big fan was present. We could open the sliding doors all the way up, therefore providing a really big enhanvement of the living surface when the porch was included (extending 2 sides of the villa). It was a relatively short walk to the beach side. Various restaurants providing a really great ambiance. Beach access was included --> the standard Jan Thiel Beach but also the salt water infinity pool. Standard sun bed provided. Different styles of restaurants available from haute cuisine to a beach vibe with picknick tables in the sand. In the evening a great ambiance. Service was excellent, everything was clean. Superb price quality ratio. It was quite calm, no noise troubles whatsoever. I would really really suggest going here. I rented a car and visited multiple beach resorts and beaches. I would very much endorse using Papagayo as a main stay. Little advice, if traveling from Europe time zone: take an overnight flight!!! We traveled back to NL at 16:35 local time, flight was 8 tot 10 hours. This way, you will get tired in the plane at around 9 in the evening local Curacao time and you can sleep (hopefully, at least the kids will). When arriving it will be around 08:30 local NL time. This way you really beat the Jetlag!

Very nice and clean accomodation very modern. I really liked it there, i enjoyed the food ,the staff the vieuw , like really everything.
