The room was so loud. The front desk was unhelpful. Asked for an additional pillow and never received. Bathroom was dirty. Breakfast didn’t have hot chocolate or options other than coffee. When I asked, they said we are short staffed.

My recent stay at the Hyatt Place Keystone / Dillon was unfortunately highly disappointing and fell far short of the standards I expect from the Hyatt brand. We encountered a cascade of issues impacting service, room cleanliness, and even safety. 🛎️ Service and Amenities Issues During our time here, we noticed significant operational shortfalls. The hotel repeatedly struggled to keep basic amenities stocked, which was frustrating: Supply Shortages: They frequently ran out of towels, cups, regular mugs, and even simple items like hot chocolate. This lack of preparedness greatly detracted from the experience. 🧹 Unacceptable Room Cleanliness The state of our room was unacceptable upon check-in: Pet Hair: We found visible pet hair on the bed, the floor, and the sofa, indicating that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. 🔒 Major Security Breach A significant and concerning incident occurred shortly after we checked in: Unauthorized Entry: Within just 30 minutes of our arrival, another family was mistakenly given a key to our room and entered with their luggage. This is a major security breach that needs immediate attention from management. 🧊 Serious Safety Concerns (Parking Ramp) Beyond the service issues, we encountered a very dangerous safety hazard involving the property's parking: Icy Ramp: The parking ramp was extremely icy. Near Miss: While we were attempting to exit the ramp, a van traveling up the ramp almost hit us, resulting in a near-miss accident. The dangerous condition of the ramp needs to be addressed immediately to prevent a serious accident. ​In summary, the multiple issues with service, cleanliness, security, and the significant safety hazard on the parking ramp meant this stay was severely below expectations. I hope the management evaluates all aspects of the services and operations at this location, as the experience did not reflect the quality typically associated with Hyatt.

Location was very nice. Staff was very nice and helpful. When we go back one night there was no parking but the night staff helped me out. We did not have soap and the shower gel was empty. Breakfast was okay considering the amount of people eating so we had to wait for reloads.

Not enough parking and breakfast should be better.

The hotel is very close to the Keystone Ski resort and that is why we chose this hotel. But the room was very small. With all our ski gears (for 4 people), it was hard to walk around the beds. We will choose another facility that is in Dillon or Silverthorne next time, which is about 10 minute drive for a bigger room.

I stay at hotels for work usually 60-75 nights a year. Over 750 nights from what I can account. I had an incident at the Hyatt Place in Keystone, Co where I was locked out of our hotel room for more than an hour because the hotel staff does not have a fail safe procedure in place when a door battery dies. They had to call an offsite individual to come with a jimmy rigged coat hanger to open the door from underneath the door to the inside. Multi code violations. Figure it out, lucky there weren’t any injuries or damages because Hyatt would have been 100% liable. Just a matter of time before someone has the same issue and has something go wrong. What if you had left an infant in the room while you went to get ice and found out you can’t get back in for more than an hour because the on-site staff does not have the ability. A lot could go wrong, luckily nothing did but for the sake of everyone else, I’d highly, highly, highly recommend staying anywhere else!

The refrigerator had old icecream in it from the previous guest. the trash can in the bathroom was not emptied from the previous guest and had old hygiene articles in it
