I had been worried about booking this hotel based on some prior reviews-but it was fantastic! They have slowly been updating and doing some touch up which looks beautiful & hopefully will be continued! Yes the hotel is quirky-but in a good way! Staff was so helpful-especially Nuno! Locale was so close to the historic central but far enough removed to be quiet too! Last, do not skip the restaurant for dinner-we ate there twice since the 1st night was so exquisite! Had Japanese food/sushi, then more traditional the 2nd night and both were incredibly well prepared and some of the best food I ate in Portugal! Diana & her male colleague were attentive servers who knew the menu intimately & could easily make suggestions on both food/wine! Would definitely stay again. Hotel was totally on par with the 3 other 5 star Boutique hotels we stayed at while in Portugal….

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great services. Great location. I wish I had more time to experience the restaurant and the pool. Next time!

It's not that I didn't like it. It's just a suggestion. The room I was in closest to the sea, needs a privacy screen on the outside stretchers. There is a public area right next to it. Fortunately it wasn't high season and there wasn't many people around. Also maybe EV charging and car washing services could be good services to add.

Buffet ontbijt is gevarieerd en mooi uitzicht op oceaan. Diner met locale specialiteiten. Geen live cooking. Veel kunstwerken tentoongesteld die te koop aangeboden worden. De ligging is fantastisch op een rots .Zeer rustig gelegen.

Een verwarmd zwembad is er niet en een sauna of fitness ook niet
