Lovely hotel. Great staff, lovely rooms, beautiful view and a nice short walk to town. We had a wonderful stay!

It was a lovely hotel but for the price, there were aspects that were less than 5 star. The pool area is kind of dated, and service at the pool was mixed (ie you do your own towels etc). The staff was great. Dinner in the main restaurant barely edible. For the money, it was a mixed bag - it seems like a potentially very good hotel that is in still working out a bunch of kinks. But again, the staff was great.

We just got back from staying at the farol. Overall we would not recommend this hotel to stay in. Staff were nice but very slow. We weee never approached and sat at the restaurant for over an hour before getting drinks. When we would lay by the pool we were the only couple that would not be served (we were a-lot younger then the rest of the crowd). Room was nice but the bathroom smelt like sewage the entire stay. NOTHING was complimentary if you touched anything in the room you would be charged, renting bikes is a fee, etc. after checkout about 6 hours after we left we were hit with a 50 euro bill for a supposed “stolen pillow” we were accused of stealing when this NEVER occurred. this ended up being refunded but extremely upsetting to see when traveling to Europe there is no space to take a large bed pillow nor did we want to! The outside of the resort did jot look like the pictures it needs to be up-kept and needed a power washing. Over all would recommend another place to stay if you don't want to be disappointed and hit with a hefty bill. I will say the staff is extremely nice and helpful but the hotel is overall poorly run.

Loved the patio off the room and small garden of the room. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is on the rocks so no direct access to water front. Lack of outside relaxing space with shade. The bar was fine but seats uncomfortable for long periods of relaxation. The breakfast was excellent but the restaurant was all fusion cooking. My wife has an allergy to chile and hot spices so we could not eat there.

A lovely, friendly hotel with brilliant staff, a nice pool and a convenient location. This my second time here and I hope not my last
