Nice hotel for good price with beach view! Recommend!

Great hotel with a nice location. The parking can be a headache sometimes but the nice room and prices are worth it.

Manage expectations. If you reserve cheapest you can find, cheap is what you get. This stay was about what I expected. Beds were ok. Fairly clean room for a hotel this old and not well taken care of. Was I comfortable enough to trust that the little coffee maker was cleanish? Absolutely not. The balcony hadnt been swept and tracked sand in. The sofa was stained and pretty gross. The exterior was filthy and smelled as bad as it looks. Pros: pool was clean, kids eat free at Sharkey’s, AC worked great, there’s an elevator- although the current inspection expired a year ago, right on the beach, only saw one roach, staff was nice enough. Cons: old and rusty, parking is bad but if you're patient and circle long enough a spot will open, filthy outside, trash everywhere on the grounds and beach, no blankets for sofa bed, linens could use some bleaching. Would I stay here again, maybe if its just a night or two. If you are looking for decent but cheap beachfront this will do but it is NOT a “nice” place to stay. It fills the need when all you need is a place to lay your head and shower.

Liked walking out door right to the beach. Very unhappy with parking mostly due to people eating at sharkeys not staying at motel and others parking in handicapped spaces but not handicapped. Like the motel and area just not the parking.

Just wanted to be on beach and that is the best part of the hotel. Location. Yes it needs some updating. I just look at it as glamping. Electric, ac, bed, shower. Thats all i needed. Oh and we did walk down to Diegos burrito factory and it was very good. Parking really does suck, just unload in their parking lot and go park in the overflow lot. Did the same thing leaving. They did have a frig and microwave which was really helpful. Oh and another thing, the hotel has a vending ice machine. Thats total BS. I understand the hotels problem,but $7 for a bag of ice is ridiculous. I would def stay again.

Loved the location on the beach. Unfinished remodeling, black mold scraping on the ceiling not painted over and other improvement project s not ready for tourists.

The hotel is older building that has been hit by hurricanes. Definitely in need reconstruction and upgrade. The room smelled like mold and my allergies were bad during my stay.

It’s a older hotel but it’s a good hotel base off the location and the convenience you are surrounded by multiple of restaurants and rentals and I love the pool good ocean view

Old and outdated .. cracks in bathroom above shower .. shower water came out like a dripping faucet - no water pressure at all .. nice that it was on the beach but the parking situation was stressful and not convenient to actual guests.

The hotel has a lot going for it—private beach access, a clean pool, friendly staff, and easy check-in and check-out made for a welcoming start. However, several issues affected the overall experience. There was no breakfast, the toilet was clogged, and no in-room phone made it hard to request help. We also had no towels provided I had to go in person to the lobby to get them, a non-working freezer, and a rusted microwave. Additionally, there was mold in the room and leakage from the ceiling due to water from upstairs. With some attention to maintenance and basic guest needs, this hotel could be a truly great place to stay.
