The Sterling Hotel

Great location if your destination is the State Capital, downtown, Old Sac. I love Victorian buildings and this one is nicely renovated. Big room, nice bathroom (one of the shower doors did not slide well.

When booking a hotel on orbitz, I expect a normal check in experience, not one that is contactless, with multiple text messages from an unknown number and keys left in lock boxes. The building itself was unique and older, and fine for the price point. Tub and sink were cracked, and showing their age. But overall was about what I expected, and convenient location.

Great location beautiful old home

Unique and Charming Stay Stayed on a Tuesday night for a concert at Ace of Spades and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The Sterling Hotel is full of Victorian charm, super clean, and walkable to everything we needed. The staff was kind, the atmosphere was peaceful, and it felt like a special experience, not your average hotel. Definitely recommend if you want something different and memorable!

The room and hotel in general were very clean but there were some issues with different leaks that were not addressed.

We got one of the suites and the bathroom made the stay so worth it! The bath was amazing and clean. The room itself is really spacious and in a clean condition. Some of the stuff is out dated (tv, lighting, plumbing) but the aesthetics made up for it. We parked in a lot nearby for $16 the whole day. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Never saw an employee Hot water for the shower was used up by 7AM Access into facility took one half hour. No one to help just check-in via internet. They sent four codes and none of the four worked. Another individual had the same issues
