Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa

My overall experience at Brasstown Valley was simply amazing! Staff were friendly and welcoming, food was very good with great options, grounds are nice and well maintained, rooms are a little dated but are clean (signs are posted highlighting upgrades in progress which is really nice). Spa was great too with awesome staff and service. The ambiance throughout this place and its history is fantastic! A little pricey but I enjoyed my birthday weekend getaway. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful place.

It's ok. Beautiful on the outside, run down on the inside. Opened in 1995 and most of it still looks that way. Tired, dim rooms. Our shower had a huge crack in it which water is probably just going behind and creating a bad issue behind wall. Water pressure was awesome though. Pool needs to be refurbished. Many areas are in need of paint or wood is rotting. Golf course looked nice. Did not try the spa. Food was good at Brassies. We really did enjoy our stay and the staff was great. The price of room just was too much for the quality.

Main stair had risers that did not comply to building code, a safety hazard.

The place is quite rundown. I’ve seen it before and it was much nicer. Supposed to be a luxury hotel and the rooms are less than mediocre. Other than the beds and beds are comfortable bathroom doors close all the way decorations horrible everything went pretty rundown. Staff was less than good. We ordered food from Rossy’s at around 8:15 after asking numerous times what time they were closing so that we could make sure we have food because we had a younger child with us and knew we needed to eat after we played some games put our order in checked on the order because it was taking a very long time. They assured us that they were working on it after waiting some time longer we confronted them and they said oh our kitchen is closed. Don’t know what happened to the order never offered any compensation never offered, and I’m sorry I made a mistake. Nothing we were without food ended up having to DoorDash from the only place open in this town and we were very upset. We were counting on eating Ross’s food All evening and ended up being totally down and not compensating anyway.

The service was excellent. I would say the hotel needs a little refresh. Rooms are getting a little tired and worn.

The grounds are beautiful. I like to stay here for work because it's perfectly located in an area otherwise without many hotels. And coming back to the resort amidst all the green is a nice end to long workdays.

The ice machine was broken and the cleaning staff needs to do a more thorough job cleaning between guests. The areas you see when you walk in are clean, but the shelf that held the towels was dusty and there was a lot of junk around the vanity and in the corners of the bathroom. The big disappointment for me this time was that I was given a room so damp and musty that the papers I had out got soft and wavy after a couple hours. When the hotel texted me the morning after I arrived and said "let us know what we can do..." I sent a reply asking for a dehumidifier but never heard back. (If the text was No Reply, then the text should redirect to a phone number.) Also, the resort fee is ridiculous for business travelers staying a night or two with no time to use the "resort" for anything but sleep.
