Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa

We were excited. They were not. The services were fair but not premium. The staff seemed tired and ready to go. The clientele can be demanding but enjoy the friendly ones.

I recently stayed at this resort and wanted to give my honest opinion. I'm always traveling, but this was work related. Mrs. Hill at the front desk was welcoming, but it seemed as though the rest of the staff had to force courtesy. Moving on to the rooms, the first room that was given to me had a moldy smell. After advising the front desk, I was moved to another room, which was better. The shower appeared to be coming apart and the ceiling was beginning to mildew; there was no smell. Other than this, the room was fine. Lastly, the restaurant. The food was decent. The salad bar was fresh and the trout was a tad salty. The lobster mac-n-cheese was pretty good. The views were wonderful, given it's in the mountains. All and all, my stay was fine, nothing to make me return, but I always say, make your own decision.

Just a little outdated needs to be cleaned up outside dead trees shrubbery everywhere but wonderful staff friendly staff valet parking is amazing the people are so nice

We mostly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the location to the types of activities that we enjoy.

The facility could use some updating mostly for appearance sake. Touch up painting, bathroom caulking and plumbing fixture updates, etc. Nothing bad just make it look a little more modern/up-to-date.
