NH Atlantic Den Haag

when we checked in for a 3 day stay, the desk clerk said that our reservation did not include a free breakfast even though I had my confirmation from the booking agent stating that it did include a free breakfast. this led to about a 1/2 hour delay in the check in process. I did not get an apology until the following evening. they gave me a room upgrade voucher in lieu of the missed breakfast for the 1st day of our stay. a very poor performance from the check-in staff.

A convenient location only 30 minutes drive from Hook of Holland. Take no 24 bus to Den Haag for 3 euros and train to Amsterdam. Lovely bright little swimming pool and fitness area. Hire a bike and join the mass of cyclists along the sea front. Pristine long golden beaches and dunes with look out points. Wonderful little patisserie and cheese shop across the road and many restaurants. Walk across the sand to the romantic beach restaurants to watch the sunset. Hotel staff are very busy but really helpful when they serve you. 12 € per night to use hotel carpark, or park for free on the roads.

The hotel location was perfect for stay at the beach. Water was outside the door.

Very nice staff, peaceful location and comfortable room. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was very good, breakfast buffet was good but not a great choice of hot food.

Very nice hotel on the sand dunes which separate The Hague city from the beach. There are many jogging options either in the dunes or on the beach. The Atlantic Hotel has a cosy bar and restaurant and there are various restaurants next to the hotel but downtown The Hague is some 5-6 miles away. Rental car is handy (hotel parking EUR 12/day, not bad for this city), however there are ample public transport options too. Taxi to downtown will set you back around EUR25, one way. Standard rooms are already nicely appointed (with a balcony) but the superior room I stayed in was terrific, even with city view.

This was the hotel that we loved the most because the staff was so friendly and the view from our room was spectacular. We had a wonderful time.

This was the largest room I ever had. And a lovely view over the sea and coastline.

Glad I was here with friends for a 3 night stay, who provided transport. Service was fine and we made use of the many restaurants nearby. Only used the bar in the hotel. While this is an older property, it is very well maintained. Would like to come back in summer!

really nice hotel. Hire a bike and cycle from the hotel along the dunes! wonderful!

Our family has enjoyed staying in this hotel. It is near by the sea with great sea view and it is not far from city center, take bus in front of the hotel, about 10 to 15 minutes you can get into city center. We enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna and steam room. The breakfast is expensive. However, there is a cosy nice french style restaurant near by with a very good breakfast and good price. I think for family stay, it is excellent.
