amazing freshly cooked breakfast. Excellent value for money.

We received a friendly greeting on arrival and this set the tone of our stay, We were given excellent service at all times during our stay by all members of staff and I can't speak highly enough of them. The food was fantastic, we had two evening meals and breakfast on the final day and the service for these was excellent. We visited for the Great North Run and will be back next year, I would recommend staying here to anybody who's looking for excellent value, service and quality.

Nice clean rooms

Nice and clean. Quiet place Sometimes you hear people outside walking by or speaking. But it is rare.

Basic but clean. Evening meals and breakfasts expensive but a chain pub and carvery down the road was inexpensive. Advertised Electric Vehicle Charging but they were Tesla only.

Basic, excellent customer service and really friendly and helpful staff, superb value, comfortable.

Good hotel good value

Clearly a very inexpensive hotel, but well kept and the staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Cannot recommend enough if you need somewhere cheaply priced in that area - i have paid much more for worse service.

Hotel stay was perfect for a couple of nights but the hotel itself definitely needs a good tidy up.
