Campanile Washington Newcastle Upon Tyne

Rooms are basic but very clean.Staff were very efficient and pleasant. The breakfast was excellent and very fresh. As much as you wanted. This is always our place of choice when visiting the Durham area.

Room was small dark and dingy, carpet was disgusting needs replacing. Bed was not comfortable. There is no hairdryer in the room, you have to go to reception to get it even though it states when booking there is one in the room!! Wont stay here again it felt dirty

Super friendly and efficient staff. Mattress and decor tired. Talking audible through walls.

The room was clean tidy comfortable and quiet( 2nd floor room rear facing). The shower was very powerful. Overall a very good value for money stay. Also located close to A1M so i was able to easily visit the places i had planned to see on my trip.

This is a great hotel at a great price. Stopped many times and always fabulous. Rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Staff are a joy to deal with add that little bit extra to the stay - as does the breakfast which I would recommend purchasing. The bar area is great with TVs, board games and always good company.

Found mattresses to be unsupportive, overall needs updating

This was only an overnight stay, but bed was very comfortable. Bathroom clean, efficient shower. Had tea/coffee in the room. Had an evening meal, limited menu but it was well cooked and a reasonable price, same for the breakfast. Entrance road needs a bit of repair.

Easy to find and all staff were friendly. Check-in straightforward. The room was a little dated but clean and quiet. Good amount of free parking although some deep potholes on the driveway. Good selection for breakfast and the full cooked breakfast was excellent. An enjoyable two night stay and would definitely recommend.
