Great location, outstanding staff (especially Marienelle at check-in), and excellent room!

I stayed at the Hilton San Jose this past weekend from Friday through Sunday and had a very positive overall experience. Antonio at the front desk provided an excellent check-in experience. He was welcoming, professional, and kindly upgraded us to a one-bedroom luxury suite, which made the stay much more comfortable. It was a thoughtful gesture and set a great tone for the weekend. I was traveling with a second guest, who is a cancer and stroke patient and has a service animal. The staff were very respectful and accommodating throughout the stay, which we truly appreciated. That level of understanding and professionalism makes a meaningful difference for guests who may have additional needs. The suite itself was spacious, clean, and very well laid out. Compared to many downtown hotel suites, this one felt especially comfortable with a separate living area, dining table, and plenty of seating. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable, and the curved wall of floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking downtown San Jose was easily one of the highlights of the room. One area that could potentially be improved is the on-site restaurant, Secco. I ordered the three-egg omelette Saturday morning to-go and the Cali burger on Sunday before checkout. The food itself was fine, but for the price point of the entrees the quality and presentation didn’t quite match expectations. Guests should also be aware that Secco automatically adds a 10% gratuity to all to-go orders. While I understand service charges in certain situations, it felt a bit surprising given that the order was simply picked up to-go. Overall, the hospitality from the team—especially Antonio—really stood out. Experiences like this are what keep travelers coming back, and I hope the management team recognizes the great service he provided. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member who stays at Hilton properties often, this was a very comfortable and welcoming stay, and I would gladly return in the future.

On February 15th I went to celebrate my friend’s birthday & had an amazing experience! Armando was an amazing asset to this experience overall! Super attentive & hospital; also the server Horacio was soooo sweet! He hooked us up with coffee before we left. Such a warm experience.

Great service from Horacio. Went with my girlfriends to have brunch at the Hilton hotel to celebrate my besties birthday. It was a great experience! Mimosas and food was delicious. We will be back! Thank you Horacio

I ate at SECCO today in the Hilton Hotel. I had never been to this hotel before but I saw they had a cafe type place so I went to visit. The food was so delicious. And their main server and chef was so kind. I wish I knew their names. The chef took care of an order for me because I only wanted half of it which was super kind. The atmosphere is beautiful. Although I have never stayed at the Hilton before I might consider staying here just so I can come down for breakfast at SECCO. I felt super taken care of and VIP in a way. Really nice staff that makes me want to come back here. Made a girl feel special on her lonely Valentine’s Day haha ❤️
