Hyatt Place College Station

Property was clean but is older and going through a refurbishment on certain floors. We could hear noise from the construction crew in the mornings. Staff are pleasant and friendly but am disappointed that there was no mention of a water main break that impacted the property earlier in the day prior to my arrival. Especially so because it would have been nice to know that we should expect brown water from the bathtub faucet that would require a 20 minute period of letting it run to flush out the sediment that had collected in the pipes. Jennifer was warm and welcoming when I checked in and didn’t seem at all surprised when I called down to the front desk later to inform her of the muddy water issue. She was prompt to offer advice on how to resolve it. Things happen and it did clear up but just feel we should have warned at check-in.

We stayed one night while visiting Texas A&M. Upon arrival, the hotel seemed dated and in need of a refresh. However, the hotel staff overshadowed those first impressions. Everyone was hospitable and friendly. The room was clean and spacious, with a living area as well. The hotel is in a good location with many restaurants nearby. The staff is what made this property stand out.

The ac did not work . When mentioned in the morning, the front desk staff just said ohh.ok ...may be they are aware of it ? It was really hot ...zero sleep .

Great place to stay. Nothing to complain about at all. Astrid at the front desk was the best ever! She made ours, and our family's stay there awesome!!

Front Dest AMAZING!! Sleeper sofa's could use replacing.

Air conditioning was a window unit so it didn’t evenly distribute the air. The one bed that was next to it was freezing while the kid that slept on the pull out couch was hot.

The bathroom in the room was not accessible as described to us on the phone.
