Hotel Royal

The courtyard was small, but very pretty. I was on the first floor and could hear the fountain.The bed was really comfortable and the room very clean. I talked to two different front desk. People who were very helpful. It’s a very old building and well maintained. It needed a little more work, but I really liked this place.

Such a cute place to stay right in the heart of the French Quarter

I did enjoy my stay. The staff were excellent. The bed and pillows so comfortable. Everything was pretty dated, given that the building itself is old. Really not too surprising. I just found myself worried I was going to break something. Hotel Royal is in a very nice area, accessible to a lot and all walkable. Overall I was really pleased! Thank you

Was in a convenient location but needs more updating. Small room, 3 flights of stairs no fridge, floor cracked and squeaked, bathroom needed better cleaning, sink was loose, no view, tiny 1 ft x 1 ft windows (2)

Perry was so helpful at check-in! We didn’t realize that we would have to drag our big cooler up to the 4th floor since there is no elevator. It was actually Perry that took it up for us and helped us find parking. We love staying in a charming place like Hotel Royal in the French Quarter especially love the cozy courtyard. It would be helpful to know about the narrow flights of stairs when being assigned a room. We would have planned our packing differently. We would consider staying there again.

Beautiful hotel in great spot! Do not bring heavy luggage or people with trouble walking. Lots of stairs. Worth it if you travel light.

Well, the room itself is beautiful. The entrance and the courtyard could use a little spiffing up, especially if you expect it to match the pictures on Expedia. The balcony access needs instructions and for the price there should be a more welcoming lobby that is of the scale that you were charging for the room. Welcome package for top-tier guests, as well as information about surrounding areas and restaurants in the room itself and transportation to and from local establishments that match the quality of the hotel would be beneficial

Neil was amazing I wished we’d seen him more during our stay. He bade our checkin quick and exciting.

I like staying there because it is close to everywhere we want to go Clean and the staff are very friendly
