"Good"

The hotel is charming with great staff & a great location. The problem is the paper thin walls that provide no insulation of noise. We could hear EVERYTHING other guests were doing at all hours. Ear plugs might help, but overall we did not have restful sleep here which was unfortunate because it’s a nice place.

Hotel Royal was the absolute perfect location for a home base in the French Quarter! Incredibly convenient to all local attractions, without being in the thick of the chaos! The bed was very comfortable the room was perfect (smaller but we barely spent much time hanging out in it), and the bathroom was clean and spacious! The team at Hotel Royal was so wonderful, always greeting us upon our arrival and departure, and they always had a bottle of water waiting at the front desk for us whenever we asked! We will CERTAINLY be returning to Hotel Royal on our next trip to NOLA! Thanks again!

"Felt like royalty at Hotel Royal"

We had a lovely long weekend visit to New Orleans, and Hotel Royal was a perfect home base. We got to enjoy the romance of a balcony in the French Quarter without all the noise/busyness. Perry at the front desk was such a friendly host, he made us feel welcomed with his Southern hospitality.

"Beautiful hotel"

My stay here was very good. My room was vintage and extremely vintage. My view was very good as well. The staff at this hotel was helpful and extremely amazing.

"Pictures were misleading, no elevator "

Pictures of the property especially the bedroom were misleading, bathroom was too small, shower had little water pressure bedroom had little space to spread out in, going up 3 flights of narrow stairs with heavy luggage was exhausting due to no elevator, Staff was nice and helpful when calling in tours.
