Your guy at the front desk, Perry, is very cool. The guy schlepped my luggage up 3 steep flights of stairs. Those stairs were a crazy workout. Third floor rooms should be discounted for that reason. I'm 53, and ten years from now, I'm unsure if I'll be able to climb them. My room was pretty small and had nowhere to set up my laptop. On Saturday, I left my room by 11am and removed the 'Do not disturb' sign. When I returned several hours later, my room was not cleaned or made up. I imagine housekeeping also dislikes those stairs. That was a bummer.

The staff was so helpful and accommodating, especially Perry. It’s a small hotel without a lot of amenities but I would definitely stay again. Very convenient to restaurants and shops.

The hotel is a quality hotel on Royal St., in a quiet area. Very short walk from Bourbon Street. Do not come down here if you are not into drinking. Most people staying in the hotel, had or were drinking. My only problem with the whole hotel space, is that is seems to be set up for 1 person! 1 chair per room. Ask for a room with a refrigerator; not all rooms come with one. Very clean rooms. Pleasant stay overall.

Staff was extremely friendly &helpful. I did not realize there were no elevators as this is a quaint building from the mid 1800s. We had 4 suitcases between my husband and I and there were stairs, stairs & more stairs. The floor of our room dropped at least 4" from the walls to the center of the floor(we set a can on its side and it quickly rolled across the floor. ) the bed was comfortable and there was a separate sitting area. Large TVs in both areas. We thought our toilet was leaking, until we figured out it was condensation from inside the toilet lid. We informed the front desk(who was surprised to hear) that the hot water supply was hooked up to the toilet, filling it with steamy hot water instead of cold! Interesting to say the least! HOWEVER, Great location for visiting the French Quarter, which was our goal.

The bathroom was so small. 5’1 person couldn’t shower in there and the sink wasn’t big enough to spit in!

Quiet when it needed to be it was right near anything you could walk to. Parking was hard but worth it.

Loved the atmosphere and the location, all the staff was very friendly and helpful
