Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Gresham

Proximity to my family living in Gresham. Basic breakfast items were decent. Lighting in the room was satisfactory. The room was clean.

Need grab bar by the bathtub. It was difficult for both of us to get in for a shower. Toilet was too low for elders. Provide a grab bar next to the toilet. The toilet should be replaced for appearance. It always looked dirty due to wear and tear.

Property is showing it's she but kept up nicely. Staff was friendly.

The whole hotel was beat up. Smelled like weed throughout the first floor. We also had an exposed outlet in our room.

Gresham is a cute town. It was quiet. Rooms have vinyl floors (as opposed to carpets). Park where you can see your car. Busy parking lot next door

The hot tub was slimey. There’s no elevator, and it might be nice if guest services could update their approach to interacting with guests — a bit more friendly communication, better manners, and attention to hygiene would go a long way. Also, it’d be great if they could remove the breakfast signage — the muffins, oatmeal, and waffle maker (which was broken) weren’t quite enticing. With over 100 guests, it’s best to get there early if you want anything. For a Portland location, I expected better coffee options in the rooms and common areas. The rooms could use some extra attention — the toilet wasn’t thoroughly cleaned even though the seal was intact, and the floors could be swept more often. Bringing house shoes might be a good idea, and definitely avoid leaving anything on the floor. -Spend the 50 extra dollars to stay somewhere cleaner with a more adequate breakfast
