Dirty rooms Smelly carpet

The hotel was fine. It was situated near 2 metro stations into Paris. It was clean. It was pretty basic but suited our needs as we were not in the rooms much. It was looking a little shabby in places and could do with a bit of a refurb. We were able to park our car for 11 euros a day. Word of warning about the car park though. It's really tight and you need to approach it from the furthest side of the road.

Cette nuit au Kyriad était juste un passage rapide en prévision du départ à 4 h 30 du matin, de mon fils, personne adulte en situation d'handicap, pour un séjour de vacances. Au cours de ce séjour, mon fils a fait une crise d'épilepsie dans l'ascenceur. Un grand merci à la personne chargée de l'accueil, qui m'a apporté une aide précieuse pour que mon fils, à demi inconscient, puisse regagner la chambre.

Everything was commendable - the staff was accommodating. The caveat is that French is the language at the desk, so communications were often challenging and sometimes confusing. I would gladly stay here again, even if the air conditioner is not absolutely powerful as I would hope. We made it work.

Bien dans m l’ensemble

Staff is friendly, but can’t speak English. Good breakfast. Close to public transportation. Property condition is average. Our AC didn’t work. Fixed it next day, but only one AC. Had a hard time to communicate with staff.

Location is 8 minutes walk from metro station. There a restaurants and stores walking distance. Quiet neighborhood. Hotel staff is friendly, despite the fact that they don't have the two beds covers we asked for, check-in time is not flexible.. we arrived earlier and had to go back exactly at 2pm to check-in. Lastly, i paid the city taxes at arrival, and it was charged again at departure. It was only 7,5€, but i had to proove i alrady paid, then, they cannot reimburse as the management is not there. This is not acceptable. aside note, I heard another client the day before complaining about being charged more than what is supposed to. Looks like reccuring problem. For that, I am lessly interested to go back.

Probleme de chauffage dans tout l'établissement. Il faisait extrêmement chaud, même probleme dans la chambre avec une fenetre qui ne s'ouvre pas ! La propreté des chambres est vraiment limite. Pas au niveau des 3 etoiles ni des autres établissements Kyriad...
