Canadas Best Value Inn Chinook Station

Honestly it was nice to look up at front and the workers there were friendly.

The place itself was a terrible environment to be around. The place did not accommodate entrance being on an uphill when entering with the road conditions being fast paced with being on the route to chinook, with not a lot of place to turn into the parking. Upon entering the inn, it had a certain off smell like cigarettes that irritated all of our noses which was the first strike. When entering the washroom we encountered bugs which was the second strike. We had sat on the bed for a solid 5 minutes before my kids had developed itches and rashes which was the third and last. It was not a clean place overall. The place was not described properly, and then again it was a cheap price, but for its amount it should at least be up to par for living conditions.

The receptionist was friendly.

The whole place. Other then the staff, the room was dingy. mold in heat register in bathroom, splatters of unknown crap on the walls of the bathroom. The bed was so wrinkled it looked like someone had slept in it already but smelled clean. The windows had peeling lead paint and were completely filthy. A/C unit looked to have the same issue as the bathroom heat register and was very dirty. And could barely sleep all night from the cooing of the pigeons nesting in the awning above our window. We would of left and asked for our money back, but they have a strict policy of no refunds and we had to pay for the room in advance when we booked. So we stayed. Pictures are nicer then it actually is. No matter the deal, it os not worth staying at this place. 1st time I've ever felt the need to warn others of a place like this. I've stayed in some pretty shady places but this tops them all.

Bugs all over room I left a 300 dollar kitchen knife in the counter in the room and when I returned for it an hour later the staff said there was no knife left in the room . Thieves … also don’t use there towels for anything they will charge you 25 dollars a towel and we talked to other guy eats cause we stayed once before this band they also said the same thing. They are Thrived and scam artists they get you in there crappy motel and it ends up being more expensive than the other options

Some vary was smoking downers by the entrance door, and all the smell of the cigarette goes to all the second floor

Everything. the front desk attendant wouldn't let me check in without paying a 500$ deposit (that was not mentioned anywhere in the fine print). As I wasnt able to pay such a high unexpected fee, the attendant had me leave the property at 1am, but not before first allowing a male guest to harass me and cause me to feel unsafe. I ended up spending from 2am to 8am sitting out front of a bus station instead of in the room that I had already paid for. the front desk attendant would not refund me the cost of the room booking and booking.com's customer service has yet to reply
